Совместный проект двух участников нашего лейбла TIJ и Luciole Langevine с альбомом Useless Weapons, что в переводе означает "бесполезное оружие". Мини-альбом из 4-х треков был записан в 2017 году и затрагивает темы, не теряющие своей актуальности. Идея и музыка принадлежат британскому музыканту, художнику, писателю, продюсеру, гитаристу по имении Barry Snaith, проект которого TIJ (The Inconsistent Jukebox) уже известен многим из прошлых публикаций и радиоротации.
Luciole Langevine (настоящее имя Anne Couëdel) - французская актриса, певица, поэт, автор песен, исполнитель с незабываемым голосом, который поражает своей глубиной и драматичностью. Это впечатление складывается не только на основе эмоций, но и на ментальном плане - достаточно почитать несколько стихотворений Anne. Они сюрреалистичны, ветвисты, насыщены символичными образами, содержат целые пласты смыслов, их интересно не только слушать - в них можно вчитываться, изучать, разматывать их как клубки и рассматривать под лупой... Тексты будут приложены ниже. Там же для довершения концепции мы приведем стихотворение Барри Снайта "Второе дыхание", которое звучит в финале альбома. Это напоминает красивый жест!
Что касается музыки, то и здесь все расцветат пышным цветом! Барри свойственно привлекать для сотрудничества очень интересных участников и создавать яркие музыкальные полотна. По его признанию: "L'Inhumanity был инициирован в высшей степени одаренным французом Renaud Deback *, чьи навыки игры на скрипке поистине возвышенны, а музыкальные таланты простираются еще дальше. На создание Burning Embers Underwater вдохновил легендарный саунд-дизайнер Richard Devine, записавший угли, горящие под водой". Барри пришла в голову сумасшедшая мысль, что было бы здорово "сделать кавер на запись, которая даже не была музыкой!". Все треки были смешаны и спаяны в плавильном котле в студии TIJ, недалеко от Манчестера, Великобритания.

Burning Embers Underwater
Under the white swirls and the smooth surface, hermetically closed, frozen in the lake, such as wireless puppets, posed on mud bed . Staring eyes. The glossy touch. Long brown algae and slow motion of the aquatic mass, viscous cold shroud enveloping flowage .

When in its depths and out of sleep, the hungry fishes, scavengers, dark cleaners, lips curled over sharp razors in a rolling ballet, undulating fins and noxious bubbles , will devour all the flesh of the lying bodies. It will remain of these foolish men under the sun, victorious sun, only pale bones, some yellow ivory and steel reflections.
